Folder Redirection

It is group policy to replicate users information in server. It can be use for an OU and for the entire domain.

step:

Create share folder on server   -> Apply permission    -> Open GPMC.msc    ->

OU   -> Edit GPO  -> User configuration    -> Policies     -> Windows Settings      ->

Folder Redirection      -> Properties     -> My Document (or Desktop)   ->     Target tab

-> Setting   (Select  Basic)   -> Redirect to the following location    ->

   \\servername\sharefolder\%username%       ->   OK

Client machine   ->  Logon as user and create new file in My Document  -> Logoff

Logon as Administrator on server    -> Open sharefolder to get user profile (Take ownership)

Publishing Resources

It means we can create link of the existing sharefolder or printer in AD. It is use by Administrators only.

Secondary Logon

 It means we can run any application by our credentials in the profile of another user. It can be use for troubleshooting purpose.
